Amy Dixon's Breathless Body 3: HIIT It Big Review

Collage Video sent me Amy Dixon's Breathless Body HIIT It Big DVD to review.  This is a super challenging program that boosts variety by modifying the classic Tabata timing.  Instead of Tabata's 20 second maximum effort work and a 10 second rest intervals, Amy uses a 40/20 format.  The extra duration allows slightly more interesting work sequences.  The the rest intervals are also a lot more refreshing.  This is a tough workout.  It includes eight drills each one is repeated four times.  All of the exercises are shown at three different levels.  Sometimes the levels are a plyometric or a non-plyometric variation.  Other times the moves are intensified with a well designed mix of impact, body position and tempo modifications.  With all the choices you are in control of your workout and you can benefit from doing the level that will work best for you.

Amy leaves me drenched in sweat and ready to do this one again in a few days.  It is super challenging and super effective.  Amy Dixon is amazing.  She really knows how to get a great workout done in a short amount of time.  The only thing I do not like about this DVD is the lack of a chapter menu.  I would like to be able to skip a drill or two when I am short on time.  I really like this workout and will keep it in the rotation and use it quite often.
