I haven't ever done anything like Nutrisystem before. I have been overweight almost my entire life. I can't think of a time when I didn't feel like I was bigger than everyone else. I am really enjoying my new active lifestyle. I jump out of bed in the morning and do an exercise DVD. Then I go to work. At work I have my planned meals and I am not hungry between meals. It seems that on Nutrisystem I am eating most of the time. There are so many things to eat each day on the Nutrisystem plan.
Nutrisystem sends you the breakfast, protein shake, lunch, dinner and dessert. On top of that you add four servings of vegetables a day and two power fuels and two smart carbs each day. Their website gives you a list of the smart carbs and the power fuels. I have been using non-fat yogurt and string cheese for my power fuels, but the list is long and I may change it up. My smart carbs tend to be fruit. As you can see you get to eat a lot of food. It actually seems as though I am eating more but they are lower calories foods than I was choosing to eat before.

This is a lifestyle change and not a diet. I am fairly sure that after three weeks it has become habit for me to eat this way and to exercise daily. Yesterday, at work, my boss brought in hot donuts and I resisted the urge to have one even though they were on my file cabinet all day. I could smell them and I didn't have one like I would have in the past. I am very proud of myself. You can do this too, the hardest part is making up your mind to live a healthier lifestyle.
