Nutrisystem Week 4 Update - 10 Pounds Lighter!

This is the first day of my second month of Nutrisystem.  I weighed in this morning at 10 pounds lighter than the day I started.  I am very happy with that number and I cannot wait to see where I am next week.  Nutrisystem works.  I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first, but after doing the plan for the past month, I can tell you that it works.  I feel so much more energetic.  I got up this morning at 4 am to do my workout.  I did an exercise dvd that lasted 50 minutes.  This is all very new to me.  A month ago I started this journey and now it has become habit for me.  I am so thankful to have been given this opportunity.

If you need to lose weight Nutrisystem is a great way to get the weight off and keep it off.  It teaches you portion control.  You learn to include fruits and vegetables in your diet which are so healthy for you.  I really do recommend this plan to anyone looking to lose weight.  I have a lot of weight to lose and it's coming off, week by week.  You can lose weight too, just give it a shot.  Believe me you will not regret the decision to take care of yourself.

Gnu Foods Review

Gnu Foods sent me a case of their bars to sample and review.  I had never tried these before and was really pleasantly surprised.  I enjoyed the flavor & fiber combination.  Gnu Foods was introduced in 2004.  They are dedicated to making food that works.  Gnu bars help with weight management, support health and promote regularity.  They have 7 delicious flavors.  I tried the Cinnamon Raisin first.  I had it for breakfast with a cup of coffee.  It was very filling and I was truly full after eating it.  I did not get hungry again for at least three hours.  I couldn't wait to try the Chocolate Brownie bar next.  I have to be honest and tell you that this was my least favorite.  I enjoyed it but not as much as I enjoyed the other flavors.

If you want to know where you can buy Gnu Foods near you just go to their store finder here.  They sell them at a store near me and I'm sure they are sold near you all as well.  I really recommend that you try these.  They are good tasting and healthy.  It's a nice way to start your day or a great snack. 

My family and I enjoyed each of the flavors.  Even though the chocolate brownie wasn't my favorite, it was my husband's favorite.  These bars are entirely natural and great for your heart health as well.  They are a wonderful addition to a well balanced diet.

Review:
This is the best popcorn I have ever tasted.  I received a very nice Spooktacular Halloween Gift Box to sample and review.

The first thing we opened was the Milk Chocolate Popsters.  These are amazing.  They are like candy.  The chocolate is top notch and the popcorn inside is crunchy and still a wonderful texture.  

I was so impressed that I had to try the Twice As Night Chocolate Drizzlecorn next.  Yes the bag is big enough for two to three people but it was hard for me to put it down.  I almost ate it all in one sitting.  This popcorn is so good.  It's hard to describe it with words.

The Parmesan & Garlic Cheese Sticks were just as delicious as the first two products that I tried.  I took these to work and snacked on them with lunch for a few days.  They are amazing.  I really had no idea what to expect when trying them but I knew they would be amazing because Dale and Thomas Popcorn makes amazing products.

The Hall of Fame Kettle Corn I gave to my Mom to try.  I am not a fan of kettle corn so I passed it along and asked for her opinion.  She was blown away.  She has tried several kinds of kettle corn and this is by far her favorite.  She asked where she could get more from right away.  My Dad and brother enjoyed it with her as well.  They all gave rave reviews.

My Grandma's Coffee Cakes Review & Giveaway Ends 8/16/11 at 7 PM EST

Review:

I received a Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake in the mail to sample and review.  I couldn't wait to try this cake.  I love coffee and I love coffee cake.  This cake is the best coffee cake I have ever had.  I shared with my family and everyone just loved it.  We have been eating on this cake for about a week now and it is still fresh and tastes great.  There are 26 servings in the cake we received.  They are decent sized pieces.  Here's some information about the cake from their website.

I love sweets.  I have tried a lot of different coffee cakes but I haven't ever had one as good as this!  My Grandma's of New England is amazing.  They were wonderful to work with.  I received the cake as promised in a timely manner.  It arrived in a nice box packed tightly with plastic around it to keep it fresh.  We have just stored it in the same box as we have been eating it and the box with the plastic bag have kept it fresh and moist and fluffy.  

This cake is good with coffee, of course.  But also good with milk and hot cocoa.  I have thouroughly enjoyed this coffee cake and will have to try the other varieties as well.  They have several to choose from.  They even have a lower fat options.
