Review:
This is the best popcorn I have ever tasted.  I received a very nice Spooktacular Halloween Gift Box to sample and review.

Our Spooktacular Halloween Gift Box is sure to bewtich all of your Halloween goblins! Filled with two footlong bags of gourmet popcorn (Twice-As-Nice Chocolate Drizzlecorn and Hall of Fame Kettle Corn), Parmesan & Garlic Cheese Sticks and Milk Chocolate Popsters (freshly popped caramel corn dipped in rich milk chocolate), this decorated gift box is an affordable way to send big Halloween greetings. Each bag of our popcorn is one foot long and serves 2-3 people. All of our popcorn is gluten free and kosher OU-D.

The first thing we opened was the Milk Chocolate Popsters.  These are amazing.  They are like candy.  The chocolate is top notch and the popcorn inside is crunchy and still a wonderful texture.  

I was so impressed that I had to try the Twice As Night Chocolate Drizzlecorn next.  Yes the bag is big enough for two to three people but it was hard for me to put it down.  I almost ate it all in one sitting.  This popcorn is so good.  It's hard to describe it with words.

The Parmesan & Garlic Cheese Sticks were just as delicious as the first two products that I tried.  I took these to work and snacked on them with lunch for a few days.  They are amazing.  I really had no idea what to expect when trying them but I knew they would be amazing because Dale and Thomas Popcorn makes amazing products.

The Hall of Fame Kettle Corn I gave to my Mom to try.  I am not a fan of kettle corn so I passed it along and asked for her opinion.  She was blown away.  She has tried several kinds of kettle corn and this is by far her favorite.  She asked where she could get more from right away.  My Dad and brother enjoyed it with her as well.  They all gave rave reviews.

I received two packages of Crunchmaster crackers to sample and review.  I tried the Gluten Free Crunchmaster White Cheddar Multi-Grain Crackers first.

Crunchmaster’s white cheddar flavored multi-grain crackers are rich, flavorful, and light.  These thin crackers are filled with good grains and seeds, like sesame seeds, quinoa, flax, corn, and rice while still maintaining an awesome flavor and crunch.  Each serving is only 120 calories, which is awesome since you get to eat about 15 crackers in one serving  Crunchmaster’s white cheddar crackers are fairly low in sodium and a good source of fiber.

I took the bag with me to work and had them mid-morning when hunger strikes.  I love that they have little seeds embedded in them.  They would also be good with cheese on them or maybe even a slice of ham or something like that.  As soon as I can find a store that carries these I will be getting some more!  I love these crackers. 

The next package of crackers that I tried were the Crunchmaster 7 Ancient Grains Hint of Sea Salt.  These are also gluten free.  Crunchmaster 7 Ancient Grains crackers are made with 100% whole grains including brown rice, sorghum, quinoa, sesame, millet, flax and amaranth. The crackers are also oven-baked and contain low sodium, making them an ideal snack option for consumers who need to avoid gluten or simply want a nutritious alternative to traditional processed wheat crackers.

Free Pillsbury Sweet Moments For The First Three

Tips For Helping to Keep Your Family Cold and Flu-Free

It's that time of year again.  Flu season.  I have come up with some tips to keep your family cold and flu-free during the cooler seasons.  I know it's no fun when someone in my house gets sick.  So I have done some research and compiled a list of things that I do to help my family stay cold and flu free year round.

1.  Wash Hands - this is important.  It's imperative to wash before eating, after using the restroom and after being outside. The correct way to wash your hands is to use soap and warm water for 20 seconds. This is the recommended amount of time to get your hands clean. Also you need to dry your hands with a clean, fresh towel.

2. Cough or Sneeze Into Your Elbow - You may not know this but one sneeze can spray up to 3,000 infectious droplets into the air at more than 100 MPH.  So if you have to sneeze and don't have a tissue handy, sneeze into the inner-part of your sleeve at the elbow.  This is an easy way that you can help reduce the fast spread of germs.

3.  Throw Away Used Tissues - Another easy one.  Just make sure that once you do get that cold out of your nose that you throw it away and wash your hands.  Toss out your used tissue immediately after use. It just makes sense to get those germs out of your way as soon as you can.

4.  Exercise and Stay Active -  Everyday you should do something active like running, walking, cycling, or swimming for at least 30 minutes.  This isn't just to keep you looking good, it's to keep your body strong and your immune system operating in it's peak condition.

5.  Stay Home When You Are Sick - When you are sick if you go to work you will get everyone else sick as well.  With this in mind you should also keep kids home when they've come down with the cold or flu to prevent the spread of the virus to others. 

6.  Stay Hydrated - Drink plenty of fluids, mainly water every day.  Our bodies are mostly water and the ongoing intake of water is essential to our every bodily function.  This is a proven way to strengthen your immune system and it will also help you to flush your body clean.  

This is just a short list of ideas to prevent your family from getting the flu or a cold with the cooler weather moving in.  It's beginning to feel a lot like fall and we are hoping that we make it through the fall and winter without any sicknesses.  I know that may be a bit unrealistic but we will do what we can to make it so.  I hope that you find these tips helpful and use them to keep your family cold and flu free this year and every year.

I Found a Meatloaf Pan!

I have just learned how to make a mean meatloaf.  So I had to find a good meatloaf pan to make my meatloaf in.  I searched and found the perfect meatloaf pan at the Rachael Ray Store.  It is just under $20 and it's going to be amazing once it arrives.  I can't wait to use it.  I have ground beef and the other ingredients ready for the arrival of my new meatloaf pan.
