Alpine Valley Coffee Review & Giveaway Ends 10/27/11 at 7 PM EST

I just discovered a new way to get my k-cups.  Do you have a Keurig Brewer?  Here's some Keurig Coffee Brewing information from Alpine Valley's site:

If you haven’t already, then it’s definitely time to join the Keurig Coffee Brewing revolution. Keurig has changed the way that coffee lovers enjoy coffee. The days of wasted pots of coffee and inconsistent flavor are gone. With a Keurig coffee brewing system, you are guaranteed the perfect cup of coffee every time – and with virtually no clean-up or hassle in the process. We’ve all become so accustomed to the chore of brewing a pot of coffee that it doesn’t seem like there’s too much to improve upon. But that could not be further from the truth.

In addition to the fantastic quality that Keurig delivers with every perfect cup, the selection and convenience of K-Cup Coffee pods opens up an entirely new world to coffee drinkers.

Discover a Keurig Coffee System

With K-Cups and the Keurig Coffee System, you can buy cup-sized pods of the world’s finest coffees and try them all without ever purchasing more than you need for a single cup. It is truly revolutionary!
Every Keurig coffee system is attractively designed and there are several sizes to suit your coffee volume and aesthetic preferences. Keurig is positioned clearly at the leading edge of coffee technology and enjoyment. After a few days with your new Keurig coffee system, brewing entire pots of coffee for only a few cups will no longer make sense to you.

So now that you know about Keurig Coffee Brewers, you really should check out Alpine Valley Coffee to get your brewer and your k-cups.  I just found them and they sent me a couple boxes of 24 k-cups of the limited edition pumpkin spice.
They have prices as low as $12.75 for 22 to 24 count boxes.  This is a great price on k-cups.  They also have free shipping when you spend over $45 on your order, some restrictions apply.  I am very impressed with the quality of service I received from Alpine Valley Coffee!  I will definitely use them for my future coffee purchases.  I really do love the convenience of k-cups and the flavor is the best.

I really enjoyed the Pumpkin Spice.  I haven't ever tried that flavor of coffee before, but I do love the creamer with the pumpkin spice flavor, so I figured I would love the coffee as well.  This is a great way to get the flavor without the calories.  I enjoyed it black and with milk.  I liked it both ways.  When you brew a cup of pumpkin spice you will have the best smell in the kitchen.  I love it!

Kicking Horse Coffee Review & Giveaway Ends 8/31/11 at 7 PM EST

I received a can of Kick Ass Coffee from Kicking Horse Coffee to sample and review.  I love coffee and couldn't wait to try this one.  Kicking Horse Coffee is new to me.  I have never tried it before.  I love the aroma that the kick ass coffee gives off.  I ground up enough beans for a small pot and brewed.  It smells amazing.  It is a nice dark coffee.  I enjoyed a cup black and then I had another cup with some french vanilla creamer in it.  This coffee is really enjoyable.  I can't wait to have another cup tomorrow morning.  I am a huge fan of Kicking Horse Coffee and I can't wait to try the other varieties as well.

Kick Ass [Dark]

One of our picks. The name says it all: carpe diem, play to win, no regrets. Don't let this cute little donkey fool you-he plays for keeps. This take-no-prisoners roast is popular with athletes who'd rather enjoy a good cup of coffee than choke down an energy bar before a workout. A great mix of Indonesian and Central American beans that is guaranteed to kick some sense into you.
Tasting Notes: Intense, full-bodied, dark-roasted attitude

If you would like to win your very own can of Kick Ass Coffee, just enter the giveaway below.

ten tips for making your life easier and more efficient while on the go

I am very busy.  I know that you all are very busy too.  I have come up with some tips to help make your life easier and more efficient while on the go.  I know that it's not easy to get all the things we need to get done finished in a day, but we can do our best.  Here are the top ten tips I came up with.

1.  Be Organized - the more organized you are the easier your life will be.  Spending five minutes trying to find something is five minutes you could have used more wisely if you had been more organized.

2.  Make a List - Make and keep a list of things to do each day.  The best way to get efficient is to know what you need to get done each day and check things off as you get them done.  You can keep the list on your phone or laptop if that's easier for you than an old fashioned paper list.

3.  Take Some Me Time - You will be more efficient if you take some time out of the day for yourself.  You have to be rested and refreshed in order to get everything you need to get done finished.  I love to have a Seattle’s Best Coffee Iced Latte during my me time.  They are great when you're on the go.

4.  Snacks - Keep snacks prepared in ziplocs or reusable bags.  Once a week buy groceries and the pack up the snacks for the week.  Then you can just grab them and go.

5.  Make Quick Meals - I prepare meals in thirty minutes or less.  That's a big time saver.  I do not spend more than half an hour cooking dinner.

6.  Share Your Duties - Share your responsibilities with your family.  Make a chart and keep up with who does what on what day.  You are not super woman you can not do it all, do not try.

7.  Be Prepared - I have everything I may need in my purse or car.  That way I have what I need when I need it.  You will be surprised how much time you can save by having things when you need them.

8.  Keep the Kids Occupied - I always have crayons or pencils for them to use when we are in the car.  I also have their video games with us whenever we may need some distractions.

9.  Keep a Schedule - If you do things in the same order each day, you will become faster and more efficient just by repeating the steps each day.  I have a routine and I stick to it.  I am very fast at getting my routine completed each day.

10.  Plan Your Shopping Trips - Make a list and plan the attack.  I start at one end of the store and work my way to the other end.  If there's not an item on my list down a certain aisle I do not go down that aisle.  I stick to the list.  It is a major time saver to have a list and use it.

I hope that these tips are helpful to you.  It's not easy to stay calm in the midst of chaos.  With a planned route you will help yourself stay calm.  Do what you can and do not worry about the rest of it.  Do not over do it.  You can say no.  You are not required to do everything for every one.
