I chose to review the Happy Holidays Gourmet Sampler Pack.  It's a really nice assortment of meats, cheeses and mustard.  This time of year we are bombarded with sweets so I chose to get something a little different.  The assortment came in a nice box with a Christmas design on it  The meats and cheeses were fantastic.  My husband and I opened up a pack of crackers and enjoyed the snack together.

I received a very nice gift basket to review and another one to giveaway from Gift Baskets By Irene.  I have never ordered from this company before but I will use them next time I need a gift basket.  They have top notch customer service and their gift baskets are beautiful.  I love that they have name brand items instead of the typical no name brands I get with gift baskets.  The basket that I reviewed and will giveaway is the Gourmet Treats Holiday Gift Basket.

Isn't it beautiful?  I am really impressed with how well it was packaged and how pretty the basket remained through travel to our house.  This basket includes the following:

The basket arrived in a nice box and it was packaged nicely.  It arrived safe and looking great with a ribbon around it and plastic wrap on it.  We immediately opened it up and tried the peanut roll.  I haven't ever had a peanut roll like this before.  The fluffy nougat center is amazing.  I really enjoyed this peanut roll.  The almond pecan-dy crunch was what we had as an afternoon snack the next day.  We all really enjoyed this.  It was fresh and sweet and crunchy goodness.  We enjoyed each and every item in this gift basket.  They were all fresh and great tasting.  I know that any recipient would be happy to get this gift basket for any occasion.
