My Family Loves to Play Outdoors

     These days we spend way too much time inside in front of the television or computer.  When I was little we spent far more time outside playing.  I have started living a healthier lifestyle and playing outdoors is part of it.  We started with long nature walks and bike rides.  It wasn't easy to get the kids to unplug and come outside but once we did it once it got easier each time we did it.

     I found a website that has a lot of fun ideas for getting outside and playing.  They have a sweepstakes going on right now too that you can enter to win daily.  It's an easy entry too.  Go check out Clorox2 Play 2Day Pledge hub, http://clorox2play2day.com and take the pledge.  Each day you enter you can add a new fun outdoors activity to your list of things to do.  We played red light, green light last night after taking the pledge.  If you don't know how to play Red Light, Green Light here are the rules:

This game is a classic for a reason. You can play with a large or small group, you don't need that much space, and every kid loves trying to sneak past "it." Never played? The rules are simple. Try variations like "What time is it, Mr Wolf?"

Post Play Clean Up

Mud

Remove all the loose dirt from the area to be cleaned, and wet the stains with a clean, absorbent cloth. Pretreat with the Clorox 2^® Laundry Stain Remover Spray or Clorox 2^® Stain Fighter Pen. Then wash as usual with your favorite detergent and Clorox 2^® Stain Fighter and Color Booster for colors. Repeat as needed until it's gone.

Dirt
