Seventh Generation, Free & Clear Diapers Review & Giveaway Ends 7/13/11 at 7 PM EST

Review
What Seventh Generation leaves out is just as important as what they put in. Free & Clear diapers do not include chlorine processing, fragrances, latex and petroleum based lotions. In an effort to contribute less overall landfill waste and continue to ensure a premium standard of absorbency, the new Free & Clear diapers have been redesigned with a lighter-weight core. With processed chlorine-free wood pulp in Free & Clear diapers, Seventh Generation also makes certain that no chlorine is released into the environment during the totally chlorine-free (TCF) whitening process of the diapers and training pants.

Seventh Generation has also reduced the size of the diapers’ plastic packaging, meaning that each pack now contributes even less overall landfill waste than before. In fact, Seventh Generation Free & Clear diaper packaging can now be recycled at local supermarkets where plastic bag recycling collection boxes are available.

You can visit http://bit.ly/seventhgendcoupon to download a printable coupon for $2.00 OFF any ONE Seventh Generation Baby Product (Diapers, Training Pants, or Wipes)!

NEW look, same premium absorbency!
As always, our diapers are FREE of chlorine processing; they are also FREE of fragrances, latex and petroleum-based lotions, so you get to decide what touches your baby's sensitive skin.  Our diapers now have an improved environmental footprint, due to a redesigned core that is more efficient at absorption and uses less processed chlorine free wood pulp.

I received a package of these diapers to review.  We love these diapers.  They work great and they are beter for the environment.  We love that we can feel good about using them.  You can find more information about them at the links below.

Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods Review & Giveaway Ends 7/10/11 at 7PM EST

Review

Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods sent me a sample pack.  I ripped open the box and enjoyed an organic brownie bite right away.  I had the breakfast cookies for breakfast the next two days and I had the other brownie bite for dessert that evening.
The Caramel Apple Breakfast Cookie was amazing.  I really enjoyed this.  It's a meal.  Very filling and held me over until lunch time.  It tasted fresh and good.  I loved the flavor as well as the texture.  Here's some information about this cookie from their website.

A carnival fair treat, without the mess! Our Caramel Apple cookie is packed with caramel bombs, diced dried apples and whole grain oats. This will be a favorite among the kid in all of us!

Toaster Friendly

Whole Grain Oats, Unbleached Wheat Flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), Prune Puree, Evaporated Cane Juice, Dried Apples, Unsweetened Applesauce, Caramel Bits (sugar, corn syrup, liquid sugar, skim milk, palm oil, butter, salt, mono- and diglycerides, natural flavor, soy lecithin), Brown Rice Syrup, Water, Chicory Extract, Expeller Pressed Canola Oil, Molasses, Baking Soda, Vanilla Extract, Natural Caramel Flavor, Sea Salt, Soy Lecithin, Dried Egg Whites, Aluminum-Free Baking Powder, Cinnamon, Apple Pie Spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, ginger).

The next morning I had the Oatmeal Raisin Breakfast Cookie.  I tried this one in the toaster.  Heating it up made it so good.  I would recommend putting the breakfast cookies in the toaster.  This cookie is so big and filling.  The texture was great and the cookie was nice and fresh.

A classic! An updated version of the most classic cookie around. Our Oatmeal Raisin cookie is loaded with juicy California raisins, whole grain oats and a hint of cinnamon.

I received one of these organic brownie bites, double chocolate chip.  I had this as soon as the box arrived and loved every bite of it.  It was good to the last crumb.

The chocolate chip mint organic brownie bite was a delightful snack one afternoon at work.  I had a cup of coffee and ate the brownie bite.  It was delicious and fresh and moist.  I loved the mint flavor with the chocolate.

I really enjoyed all of the products from Erin Baker's Wholesome Baked Goods.  They have agreed to send a sample pack to one winner from my blog.

Chobani Review & Giveaway Ends 7/9/11 at 7 PM EST

Review:

I received a case of Chobani yogurt to review.  This yogurt is amazing.  It tastes great and it's got a lot of protein to keep you feeling full longer.  My favorite part about the yogurt is the size of the cup.  It's larger than the yogurt cup size that I am used to.  I really enjoyed the lemon, mango, strawberry banana and the pineapple flavors.  Honey was my brother's favorite.  Everyone really enjoyed these yogurts.  I put low fat granola in the plain yogurt and it tasted great.  It was perfect for a filling breakfast.  It held me over until lunch.  I was not hungry until I ate lunch, which is amazing.  I often get hungry around 10 in the morning.

From their website:
We make Chobani Greek Yogurt deep in the rolling hills of Central New York. Our expert team is committed to bringing you products made with only natural ingredients that are not just the highest quality but taste great too.  Here at Chobani, our secret isn't an ingredient but a passion and love for what we do…and a man who goes by the name of Mustafa.  Mustafa Dogan is Chobani’s Master Yogurt Maker. He’s an artisan armed with years of yogurt-making experience and is responsible for crafting the rich, deliciousness that is Chobani.
Mustafa custom blends special yogurt cultures just for Chobani. These special cultures are added to our milk which is then strained  with care to create yogurt that's outrageously creamy, and ridiculously high in protein.
This unique straining process is what makes Chobani Greek Yogurt “Greek” and full of flavor and health benefits:
·      Only natural ingredients. Free of preservatives and artificial flavors.
·      Free of synthetic growth hormones. (Milk from cows not treated with rBST)
·      Includes 5 live & active cultures, including 3 probiotics.
·      Made with real fruit.
·      Twice the protein of regular yogurts.
·      A good source of bone-building calcium.
·      Gluten-Free and Kosher-Certified.
·      Safe for people with corn, nut and soy allergies.
