When I heard about the Dream Body Workout Series from Fusion Fitness I knew I had to try it. I couldn't wait to get it and get started. I have committed myself to doing this series for the next six months. I am doing each of the five DVDs one day a week for the next 6 months straight. I may take a day off here or there, but I hope to complete my goal without skipping one workout. So far I am in the middle of the third week. The first week I lost nearly 5 pounds. I am really close to my goal weight and this series is just what I need to push me to goal and to my dream body.
The series has five DVDs. Each DVD contains a different workout. So for my routine I am doing them in order. Disc 1 on Monday, Disc 2 on Tuesday, Disc 3 on Wednesday, Disc 4 on Thursday and finally Disc 5 on Friday. For me the Monday workout is the hardest one so I get it done on Monday after a good weekend rest.
Disc 1 is called Fusion Mix with Darby. Darby is adorable. She has a great technique and she is a wonderful teacher. Fusion Mix is a 60 minute workout that requires a stability ball and a pair of light dumbbells. The best way to describe it, for me, is a blend of athletic-style calisthenics and dance moves. Guaranteed to get you sweating and moving throughout the entire hour.
Disc 2 is Tabata and Toning with Francie. I did this one this morning so it's fresh on my mind. The workout is 45 minutes. Equipment required includes a wide resistance band, gliding disks or paper plates, and dumbbells. In this workoutthere are six sets of cardio intervals in which you do six tabata drills (usually three on each side and each with a ten-second recovery). The recovery periods consist of weighted work, so your heart rate is elevated the whole time.
Disc 3 is Barre with Sadie. I am a huge fan of Barre workouts. This one is so much more difficult than any of the others I have done in the past. Sadie targets those trouble zones my inner thighs and triceps are on fire. You will achieve the length of a dancer and strength of an athelete. Ballet meets badass in this belly fat burning workout that is a total of 50 minutes.
Disc 4 is Bikini Bootcamp with Amy. Amy gets you summertime skinny with 40 minutes of non stop kicking, jumping, lunging and punching. Then she tones up your trouble areas in the last 20 minutes. This workout is a total of 60 minutes and every minute is a challenge. I enjoy the challenge and the burn.
Disc 5 is my favorite! It is Fusion with Brooke. Fusion is a vigorous sequence of funky fresh yoga, pilates, calisthenics, and barre. In this workout you will tone muscles you never knew you had and burn them out to exhaustion. Believe me you will feel great after this one.
I can see that the Dream Body Workout Series is whipping me into the best shape of my life. I am whittling my middle and getting to that body that I have always wanted to have. I am not totally able to keep up in parts but I am working towards getting there. Each time I do a workout I get stronger and better at it. I will eventually be able to keep up with the advanced version. Right now I do a lot of the modifications but I know that I am going to get to advanced with lots of hard work and dedication. I highly recommend this series to anyone who wants to change their body and look better and get that dream body we all want. Believe me this is the workout series that will get you there.
