It's a barre workout without a barre; a cardio workout that never feels punishing. It pushes each muscle group to failure. That muscle shaking is Bowen's goal. As she likes to say, "shake to change." This DVD includes three 20-minute workouts plus a thorough full body stretch. I have to say that her stretch is by far the best stretch I have ever done. Using a chair to hold onto for stability I am able to stretch so much more than ever before.

Bowen's three 20-minute workout segments are meant to be enjoyed one at a time on busy days and all the way through when times allows.
Upper Body Sleek - arms and shoulder get chiseled from every angle. I did this one first and really enjoyed it. I like the shape that my shoulders and arms are getting from this workout. I can see definition and feel the strength getting better each and every time I do this workout.
Lower Body Lean - hips on down are challenged with strength, balance and isometric work. This one is challenging for me. My thighs are strong but this one pushes them to the edge. I love working these big muscle groups and getting leaner.
Cardio Torch - Cardio intervals including slow and controlled plyometric moves challenge the lower body while boosting metabolism. A focused ab section goes right for the burn, no weighted are used here. The ab section is simple yet effective. The moves are easy to follow but you can feel them working right away. The cardio isn't what I would call traditional cardio but it does get the heart rate up and the sweat dripping. I really like this segment and I am not a fan of cardio. This one works the booty and thighs big time too!
There's also a quick warm up and a head to toe 12-minute stretch segment that is delicious after any of these segments or even on its own.
