Quick Fit with Andrea Metcalf DVD Review

Collage Video sent me a couple exercise dvd's to review.  Here's a little bit of information about Collage Video for those of you who have never heard of it.  Back in 1987, they realized that back-of-the-package video descriptions — and friends’ suggestions — just didn’t get us videos that were right for OUR situation.  So they decided there had to be a better way — search out the best videos and describe them honestly.  Then they printed the first-ever exercise video catalog. Since then they’ve helped over one million people reach their fitness goals.  25 years later, they’re still here and still family-owned ... all because of their loyal (and in-shape!) customers.
Quick Fit with Andrea Metcalf is one DVD with three full-length workouts: Fat-burning aerobics, traditional body-sculpting and Pilates toning.  All three workouts are structured in 5-minute blocks.  The benefit?  You'll maximize variety while challenging your body in diverse ways.  The cardio program is a good example.  The blocks range from traditional pony and boxing moves to "two step chugs" and "sumo squat attacks."  The body-sculpting workout is also varied; it mixes proven classics like planks and squats with innovative routines like "better booty bridges" and "ballet bottom blasts" (often working multiple muscle groups at once).  The third program is a mostly-core-focused blend of Pilates and gym-style exercises.  Requires 3 to 8 lb. dumbbells and a resistance band.

Andrea does a great job with the instructions.  The workout is tough but I do not dread it.  I really look forward to popping in this DVD and working out with Andrea early in the morning before I head off to work.  Andrea has a great tone and she is super motivational.  You will burn calories and feel great.  I work up a sweat and feel strong when I am finished with the workout.
