Kinnikinnick Foods Inc. Review & Giveaway Ends 10/02/11 at 7 PM EST

Kinnikinnick Foods sent me some items to try out and review.  I received the Pancake Mix, Panko Crumb, Pizza Crust & Choc KinniTOOs.  I was so excited to try these out and let you all know what I thought.  The first thing we did was tear into the choc KinniTOOs.

Grab a cold Glass of Milk...or Soy Milk...Or Potato Milk...or Almond Milk and decide. Will you eat the center first?

My Mom tried these and really liked them.  I had a few and was impressed as well.  These are some of the best gluten free cookies we have had.

One night for dinner we had the pizza crusts.  We made our own personal pan pizzas.  These crusts were really good.  They got crispy in the oven and cooked as described in the instructions.  I really loved these and would definitely use them again.  They are great for a quick and easy dinner that the kids will enjoy!

Pancakes are a favorite around here.  I was a little worried that these weren't going to be that good.  I don't know why but I just had trouble believing we were going to like these.  Guess what?  We all loved them.  I will use this mix from now on.  The whole family ate these and loved them!
I haven't used the Panko bread crumbs yet, but I was impressed with all the other products that I know this one will be good too!  You can order these products and more on their website here.  If you would like to enter to win a selection of their products to try for yourself enter the giveaway below.

About Julian Bakery

The Julian Bakery began in the quaint, historical town of Julian, in the mountains above San Diego, California. An expansion led the business to the seaside community of La Jolla, California, still in the county of San Diego.

Mission

Barbara’s mission is to bring healthy and delicious breads to everyone.

Standards

Quality is the heart of the Julian Bakery. Great care is taken to select wholesome, chemical free grains, seeds and nuts for stone grinding and in conjunction with a slow culturing process to provide the consumer with the best benefits bread can offer, full of amino acids and complex carbohydrates.

Review
I received three of their best selling breads to sample and review.  I got a package with the following breads in it:

Smart Carb # 1 Bread (1 Net Carb) - $7.99
This is the # 1 Low Carb Bread on the Market with only 1 Net Carb. This bread is perfect for any low carb diet or for keeping a lean physique with 12g of Protein & Fiber Per Slice this bread is amazing. 1 1/2 lb., Sliced Loaf
Smart Carb #2 (Cinnamon Raisin)(2 Net Carbs) - $7.99
Smart Carb #2 - An amazing cinnamon raisin low carb bread that is delicious anytime of the day. It has a wonderful cinnamon flavor with a few raisins. Makes amazing low carb french toast! (Only 2 Net Carbs) 1 1/2 lb., Sliced Loaf

Amazing Sourdough (Low Calorie & Low Carb) - $6.99
This is a low calorie, low carb sourdough sliced loaf bead that only has 60 calories, 4 Net Carbs, and 5g of protein per slice. Flavorful. 1-1/2lbs

I tried the Cinnamon Raisin bread first.  I was impressed with the flavor.  It really tastes great.  It had a hint of sweetness to it but it was just from the raisins.  I love how this bread has so much protein.  It really makes me feel full.

I tried the sourdough next and I made a grilled cheese with it.  It held up really well.  I love how solid this bread it.  It is fresh and tender and wonderful.

The last one I tried was the smart carb #1 bread.  I loved this bread too!  It didn't give me that low blood sugar feeling a few hours after I ate it that I get from regular bread.  I loved how great this bread makes me feel when I eat it.  It makes me stay feeling full longer.
